It provides a holistic view of the bodymind system rooted in the science of subtle energy.

Each class will incorporate asana, breath, mantra, yoga philosophy and scientific explanations that will provide students with a concise overview of each particular chakra and its role in both body and mind.

What you will learn:

- The correlation of basic physical forces in the universe and how they correspond to the human chakra system

- Asana and pranayama that correspond to the particular energy centers and endocrine glands associated with various chakras

- Basics of the anatomical functions of the body and how they can be enhanced through yoga practice

- Contemplations that will accelerate the awareness of the psychological needs and desires of each chakra

About Chakra Yoga:

This system of yoga was developed by David Goulet, founder of pyramid yoga, who received his initial transmission of the yogic science of chakras from Swami Gitananda. It works with nine main forms of yoga that are associated with their respective chakras as different gateways to exploring reality. David has particularly focused on building strong links between contemporary discoveries in quantum physics, chemistry and new biology - confirming the knowledge of ancient yogis while making their insights accessible to modern minds.
